Kuala Lumpur is metropolitan city, where cafe, pub, restaurant is everywhere. You might little lost here. I will guide you to find lunch, dinner, coffee & tea and the nightlife that you will be remember, all based on my personal experience.

Where to have Lunch?

Madam Kwan, You are not in Malaysia if you skip their local dishes. In here you will find truly Malaysian cuisine, Madam Kwan combines elements of  rich cultural mix of cuisine in Malaya to created Malaysian dishes for all food lovers to enjoy. From the signature Nasi Lemak to “wok” style Hokkien mee, there’s something for everyone to savour those special dishes that is uniquely Malaysian. Not forget to mention, that this place is very comfortable, with cafe style interior yet very elegance. Who said enjoy the local cuisine has to be in night market or at the street?

Cofee & Tea please?

Harrods Cafe, if you looking a place to enjoy a coffee and cake in afternoon, you should be here. They have breakfast menu and good for lunch too. My favorite here is the scones and Madeleine. If you like sandwich or salads, you are welcome here. Located inside Suria KLCC Harrods have 2 spot, the restaurant and the cafe in separate floors, so dont be confused, just ask for the cafe downstairs and enjoy your afternoon.

Tips : Ask the high tea menu  at Harrods cafe  , it is cheaper to order package set menu.

Where to dine?
Porto Romano Ristorante, named after an ancient Roman Port known as Albania in present day, served Albanian – Italian – Mediterranean flair to their cuisine. This is one of my favorite Italian Cuisines so far in Kuala Lumpur. What you expect? The well made Italian dishes in the set of Mediterranean ambiance with old rustic charm. With around of fifty dishes on the menu,  as diner you should not have any problems selecting something agreeable for your taste.
Tips : The location of Porto Romano is somewhat hidden away in city square building, so please take a note for the address.

Al-Amar, Located in the iconic Pavilion shopping mall, offers a traditional yet authentic Lebanese cuisine. Offerings include mezze (a variety of either hot or cold dishes in small portions), traditional Lebanese salads, chawarma and of course raw lamb meat dishes for the more adventurous, as not a fans of middle east cuisines, Al-Amra is my best exception. When it comes to the décor, a unique and warm interior comes with traditional feel. The deep and comfy sofas on the spacious outdoor terrace beckon customers to come relax and enjoy a soothing fruit flavored Shisha whilst enjoying an exceptional view of bustling Jalan Bukit Bintang.
Tips: If you want a unique experience, check Al-Amar live Middle Eastern music every Friday, belly dancers on Saturdays and Sunday lunch buffet.
